Setup e-mail


One of the most widely used e-mail platforms is Outlook. It features several options that make it easy and efficient to use. Being user friendly, it allows instant retrieval of sent emails to quick formatting of your inbox. If you are facing any problem in setting up your e-mail, it is fairly easy.

Setup e-mail in  Microsoft Outlook

STEP1. Open Outlook and click “Tools.”
STEP2. Click “Email Accounts.”
STEP3. Click “Add a new e-mail account” and then select “Next.”
STEP4. Enter the type of server used by your internet provider.
STEP5. Type the name you want to appear on your ongoing e-mails. This name will appear on every e-mail sent by you.
STEP6. Type the e-mail address provided to you by your Internet provider into the E-mail Address field.
STEP7. Complete the fields under Logon Information only if you want that your computer remember the password when you sign on.
STEP8. Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses which are used by your Internet provider under Server Information.
STEP9. Click “Next” and then “Finish.”
